William Gill has a background in Engineering, Marketing, Sales and General Management in Europe, USA and Australia. More recently he moved into renewable energy as the CEO of Wind Corporation Australia. In this role he was involved with the first privately build wind farm in New South Wales and leveraged this into a $200 million portfolio of wind projects. Building this portfolio involved negotiations with land owners, establishing wind testing, evaluating the data to indentify the prime sites, accessing and negotiating grid connect agreement, identifying suitable generating equipments, negotiating long term power purchase agreements and establishing financing arrangements.
As the Commercial Manager for Kyoto Energy Park, William brings a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of commercialising renewable energy projects together with an understanding of the proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS).
